To be eligible, your patient must be diagnosed with:
  • Chronic atrial fibrillation
  • Mechanical heart valve
  • Venous thromboembolism (VTE) including,
    - Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
    - Pulmonary embolism (PE)
And meet the following criteria:
  • Taking Coumadin or other oral anticoagulation for at least 3-months and on a daily basis.
  • Be able to demonstrate the correct use of the device after training.
Yes. The PT/INR Monitor and the home testing must be prescribed by a treating physician. Only you and your patient can decide if mdINR PT/INR Home Monitoring Service is right for them.

Our intuitive secure patient website allows you to easily record your latest PT/INR from anywhere with an Internet connection. You can also review any physician prescribed changes to your dosing schedule, and review your previous PT/INR results.
